The Day Sir Richard Branson Answered my Tweet

Yesterday Richard Branson, Sir Richard Branson of Virgin replied to my question in Twitter:

I honestly didn’t know he would answer, I just asked the question as part of a challenge from How to Make your First Dollar.

I was genuinely curious but I was also resigned that I was never going to get a response. I fired off the tweet, waited for a few minutes then moved on.

And then, last night, I got the notification and I stared at it gobsmacked. Because Richard Branson answered my question.

There’s a lesson there: Just try, doesn’t matter if it doesn’t work, it matters that you tried.
